Beaches

The two small and quiet beaches either side of Rhoscolyn House are accessed direct through small gates on the property.  There is also the larger main Rhoscolyn beach in the bay (rumoured to be a favourite of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!).  This bay is sheltered and ideal for hiring kayaks or simply soaking up the rays.  Trearddur Bay is the next big beach along the coast (can be accessed by a 45 min coastal walk), and is serviced by burger and ice cream vans, and is home to a sailing club.  Rhosneiger (opposite Rhoscolyn) is known for water sports – surfing, sailing, jet skis, kite surfing.  All beaches have wardens on in the summer which is an added safety bonus.
